People,
There is a university whose Chancelor is President of Paksitan, whose Chairman is Secretary of a ministry and whose board of governor is from HEC and many other ministries... and that is the virtual university. How come some slanted student or biased poor employee of some embassy deny its importance.
I assure you that there are no such things which are being circulated over electornic media regarding the worth of VU education. VU's education and degree is honored everywhere within Pakistan as well as aborad.
Guys and Gals, if Dr. Amir Hussain Liaqat (Alam Online) can earn a doctorate degree from an online institute i.e. Trinity College and University which grants the degrees against just USD 200 to USD 250, and anyone can earn that degree just by sending them the money, then wot is wrong with VU who is of course giving a class education, gud system of exams, who is governed by a government and whose board of governors and chancelor of highups???
Some ignorant students and the biased west media do not want to see us growing and enhancing our skills and thus propgating sort of bad reputation of a good university.
I'd like to pose a question, in Pakistan, how one professional can enhance his / her skills alongwith job except by the VU platform. And that is the area which is being targeted by our innocent colleagues and some embassys.
Here I'd like to tell you one more thing, if someone has specialized in medicine from any institute, canadian embassy will not accept their degrees as well. Those persons would need to go to canada and serve at their resturants and gas stations for 5/6 years and study there again to get a recognition. So guys and glas, do not let that propoganda be effective.
We can complain on some areas of VU's procedures but still the worth of its degree is of no doubt plus it is well recognized all over the world (except canada of course).
