2. Rector, Virtual University of Pakistan

3. Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan, or his nominee 

Member

4. Secretary, M/o Information & Media Development, Government of Pakistan  Member
5. Chairman, Higher Education Commission, or his nominee  Member
6. Chairman, National Telecommunications Corporation, or his nominee   Member
7. One retired judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan  Member
8. One serving or retired Rector or Vice Chancellor of a public university  Member
9. Three eminent educationists or scientists, not being employees of the University  Members

10. One expert from the financial sector 

 Member
11. One Dean of the University  Member
12. The Registrar of the University  Secretary

Note: All members other than ex-officio members are appointed by the Chancellor for a term of three years

(Attock VU Group) .....................Qur'an & Hadith 04 June 2011 (01 Rajab 1432)






English Translation of Al-Quran

[10].Surah Yunus [Jonah]

Ayat 7. Verily, those who hope not for their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present world, and those who are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.),

Ayat 8. Those, their abode will be the Fire, because of what they used to earn. 

 

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet [SAWW](PBUH) said, "May he be miserable, the worshipper of the dinar and dirham, and the worshipper of the striped silk cloak. If he is given anything, he is satisfied; but if not, he is unsatisfied". [Al-Bukhari Hadith # 2886]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Yunus Ayat 7. "are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present world", This Hadith expose person who prefers worldly things over life hereafter. "A slave of dinar and dirham and silk cloaks (clothes)" here means a person who prefers these things to the Divine injunctions and commands and strives day and night to amass worldly goods. Instead of worshipping Allah, he worships such things and is thus guilty of worship of others besides Allah, a condition which causes his ruin.

jab aap ko meri is baat se itafaq nahin kartay k MCQs se hamari university badnaam ho rahi hai.....tou phir aap ki nazar mein aisay kon se reasons ho saktay hain k Fall 2008 semester k foran baad hamain aisay incidents dekhnay ko milay, jab k is se pehlay kabhi aisay incidents dekhnay ko nahin milay thay....



Note: yeh question main nay aik baar aik aur bahut baray group par bhi keea tha, par us waqt woh sab log jo meri baat nahin maan rahay thay k MCQs ki wajah se university degrade ho rahi hai....saray chup kar k baith gaye aur kisi nay meray is question ka answer nahin dia tha...
