محترم اشفاق احمد کا ایک واقعہ بہت پہلے کہیں پڑھا تھا جس میں وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک سوال نے کافی عرصے سے مجھے پریشان کیا ہوا تھا کہ مومن اور مسلمان میں کیا فرق ہے؟؟؟ میں نے بہت سے لوگوں سے اس کا جواب پوچھا لیکن کسی کے جواب سے اطمینان نہیں ہوتا تھا۔۔۔ ایک مرتبہ کسی گاؤں میں جانا ہوا تو ایک بابا جی کو دیکھا جو ریڑھی لگائے گنے کا رس نکال رہے تھے۔ میرے دل میں خیال آیا کہ کیوں نہ ان سے وہ سوال پوچھوں۔ تو میں نے بابا جی کو سلام کیا اور اجازت لے کر سوال کیا کہ بابا جی ، مومن اور مسلمان میں کیا فرق ہے۔۔۔ بابا جی نے کچھ سوچا اور بولے ، مسلمان وہ ہے جو اللہ کو مانے ، اور مومن وہ ہے جو اللہ کی مانے۔۔۔
کیا آپ نے کبھی سوچا کہ آپ مومن ہیں یا مسلمان؟؟؟
اس کا جواب کسی کو دینے کی ضرورت نہیں کہ اس سے کسی کا فائدہ نہیں ہوگا۔۔۔ ہاں! اس کا جواب اپنے آپ کو ضرور دیں۔۔۔ شائد اس سے بہت سوں کا فائدہ ہو جائے۔۔۔--
