مثبت کام کی بُنیاد تو ڈال دو

۱۹۳۰ کے عشرے میں (یہ کمیونزم کے زمانے کا ذکر ہے) ایک طالبعلم نے جب مصر کی ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی میں داخلہ لیا، وقت ہونے پر اُس نے نماز پڑھنے کی جگہ تلاش کرنا چاہی تو اُسے بتایا گیا کہ یونیورسٹی میں نماز پڑھنے کی جگہ تو نہیں ہے۔ ہاں مگر تہہ خانے میں بنے ہوئے ایک کمرے میں اگر کوئی چاہے تو وہاں جا کر نماز پڑھ سکتا ہے۔

طالبعلم یہ بات سوچتے ہوئے کہ دوسرے طالبعلم اور اساتذہ نماز پڑھتے بھی ہیں یا نہیں، تہہ خانے کی طرف اُس کمرے کی تلاش میں چل پڑا۔

وہاں پہنچ کر اُس نے دیکھا کہ نماز کیلئے کمرے کے وسط میں ایک پھٹی پرانی چٹائی تو بچھی ہوئی ہے مگر کمرہ صفائی سے محروم اور کاٹھ کباڑ اور گرد و غبار سے اٹا ہوا ہے۔ جبکہ یونیورسٹی کا ایک ادنیٰ ملازم وہاں پہلے سے نماز پڑھنے کیلئے موجود ہے۔ طالبعلم نے اُس ملازم سے پوچھا کیا تم یہاں نماز پڑھو گے؟

ملازم نے جواب دیا، ہاں، اوپر موجود لوگوں میں سے کوئی بھی ادھر نماز پڑھنے کیلئے نہیں آتا اور نماز کیلئے اس کے علاوہ کوئی جگہ بھی نہیں ہے۔

طالبعلم نے ملازم کی بات پر اعتراض کرتے ہوئے کہا؛ مگر میں یہاں ہرگز نماز نہیں پڑھوں گا اور اوپر کی طرف سب لوگوں کو واضح دکھائی دینے والی مناسب سی جگہ کی تلاش میں چل پڑا۔ اور پھر اُس نے ایک جگہ کا انتخاب کر کے نہایت ہی عجیب حرکت کر ڈالی۔

اُس نے بلند آواز سے اذان کہی! پہلے تو سب لوگ اس عجیب حرکت پر حیرت زدہ ہوئے پھر انہوں نے ہنسنا اور قہقہے لگانا شروع کر دیئے۔ اُنگلیاں اُٹھا کر اس طالبعلم کو پاگل اور اُجڈ شمار کرنے لگے۔ مگر یہ طالبعلم تھا کہ کسی چیز کی پرواہ کیئے بغیر اذان پوری کہہ کر تھوڑی دیر کیلئے اُدھر ہی بیٹھ گیا۔ اُس کے بعد دوبارہ اُٹھ کر اقامت کہی اور اکیلے ہی نماز پڑھنا شروع کردی۔ اُسکی نماز میں محویت سے تو ایسا دکھائی تھا کہ گویا وہ اس دنیا میں تنہا ہی ہے اور اُسکے آس پاس کوئی بھی موجود نہیں۔

دوسرے دن پھر اُسی وقت پر آ کر اُس نے وہاں پھر بلند آواز سے اذان دی، خود ہی اقامت کہی اور خود ہی نماز پڑھ کر اپنی راہ لی۔ اور اس کے بعد تو یہ معمول ہی چل نکلا۔ ایک دن، دو دن، تین دن۔۔۔وہی صورتحال۔۔۔ پھر قہقہے لگانے والے لوگوں کیلئے اُس طالبعلم کا یہ دیوانہ پن کوئی نئی چیز نہ رہی اور آہستہ آہستہ قہقہوں کی آواز بھی کم سے کم ہوتی گئی۔ اسکے بعد پہلی تبدیلی کی ابتداء ہوئی۔ نیچے تہہ خانے میں نماز پڑھنے والے ملازم نے ہمت کر کے باہر اس جگہ پر اس طالبعلم کی اقتداء میں نماز پڑھ ڈالی۔ ایک ہفتے کے بعد یہاں نماز پڑھنے والے چار لوگ ہو چکے تھے۔ اگلے ہفتے ایک اُستاذ بھی آ کر اِن لوگوں میں شامل ہوگیا۔

یہ بات پھیلتے پھیلتے یونیورسٹی کے چاروں کونوں میں پہنچ گئی۔ پھر ایک دن چانسلر نے اس طالبعلم کو اپنے دفتر میں بلا لیا اور کہا: تمہاری یہ حرکت یونیورسٹی کے معیار سے میل نہیں کھاتی اور نہ ہی یہ کوئی مہذب منظر دکھائی دیتا ہے کہ تم یونیورسٹی ہال کے بیچوں بیچ کھڑے ہو کر اذانیں دو یا جماعت کراؤ۔ ہاں میں یہ کر سکتا ہوں کہ یہاں اس یونیورسٹی میں ایک کمرے کی چھوٹی سی صاف سُتھری مسجد بنوا دیتا ہوں، جس کا دل چاہے نماز کے وقت وہاں جا کر نماز پڑھ لیا کرے۔

اور اس طرح مصر کی ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی میں پہلی مسجد کی بنیاد پڑی۔ اور یہ سلسلہ یہاں پر رُکا نہیں، باقی کی یونیورسٹیوں کے طلباء کی بھی غیرت ایمانی جاگ اُٹھی اور ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی کی مسجد کو بُنیاد بنا کر سب نے اپنے اپنے ہاں مسجدوں کی تعمیر کا مطالبہ کر ڈالا اور پھر ہر یونیورسٹی میں ایک مسجد بن گئی۔

اِس طالبعلم نے ایک مثبت مقصد کے حصول کو اپنی زندگی کا مقصد بنا لیا اور پھر اِس مثبت مقصد کے نتائج بھی بہت عظیم الشان نکلے۔ اور آج دن تک، خواہ یہ طالبعلم زندہ ہے یا فوت ہو چکا ہے، مصر کی یونیورسٹیوں میں بنی ہوئی سب مسجدوں میں اللہ کی بندگی ادا کیئے جانے کے عوض اجر و ثواب پا رہا ہےاور رہتی دُنیا تک اسی طرح اجر پاتا رہے گا۔ اس طالب علم نے اپنی زندگی میں کار خیر کر کے نیک اعمالوں میں اضافہ کیا۔

میرا آپ سے یہ سوال ہے کہ

ہم نے اپنی زندگیوں میں ایسا کونسا اضافہ کیا ہے؟ تاکہ ہمارا اثر و رسوخ ہمارے گردو نواح کے ماحول پر نظر آئے، ہمیں چاہیئے کہ اپنے اطراف میں نظر آنے والی غلطیوں کی اصلاح کرتے رہا کریں۔ حق و صدق کہنے اور کرنے میں کیسی مروت اور کیسا شرمانا؟ بس مقاصد میں کامیابی کیلئے اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ کی مدد و نصرت کی دعا مانگتے رہیں۔

اور اسکا فائدہ کیا ہوگا؟

·       اپنے لیئے اور دوسرے کیلئے سچائی اور حق کا علم بُلند کر کے اللہ کے ہاں مأجور ہوں کیونکہ جس نے کسی نیکی کی ابتداء کی اُس کیلئے اجر، اور جس نے رہتی دُنیا تک اُس نیکی پر عمل کیا اُس کیلئے اور نیکی شروع کرنے والے کو بھی ویسا ہی اجر ملتا رہے گا۔

·       لوگوں میں نیکی کرنے کی لگن کی کمی نہیں ہے بس اُن کے اندر احساس جگانے کی ضرورت ہے۔ قائد بنیئے اور لوگوں کے احساسات کو مُثبت رُخ دیجیئے۔

·       اگر کبھی اچھے مقصد کے حصول کے دوران لوگوں کے طنز و تضحیک سے واسطہ پڑے تو یہ سوچ کر دل کو مضبوط رکھیئے کہ انبیاء علیھم السلام کو تو تضحیک سے بھی ہٹ کر ایذاء کا بھی نشانہ بننا پڑتا تھا۔
