Dear frnd,
There is no any type of coding in CS507. It is the subject by which we
will be able to know that how to handle or manage information.
An information system is larger field of study that refers to systems
that are designed to create, modify, store and distribute information.
Here, system does not mean only "computer system"; rather it is a
combination of people, machines, processes and technology. Information
systems play a vital role in the e-business and e-commerce operations,
enterprise collaboration and management, and strategic success of
business that must operate in an internet worked global environment.
Thus, the field of information systems has become a major functional
area of business administration.
Information Systems is a large umbrella referring to systems designed
to create, store, manipulate, or disseminate information. Whereas,
Information technology falls under the information systems umbrella,
but has nothing to do with systems per say.
I hope your concepts will be cleared about IS.
