شاید اُس نے مجھ کو تنہا دیکھ لیا ہے
دُکھ نے میرے گھر کا رستا دیکھ لیا ہے

اپنے آپ سے آنکھ چُرائے پھرتی ہُوں میں
آئینے میں کِس کا چہرہ دیکھ لیا ہے

اب بھی سپنے بوئے تو ایمان ہے اُس کا
اُس نے ان آنکھوں میں صحرا دیکھ لیا ہے

اُس نے مجھے دراصل کبھی چاہا ہی نہیں تھا
خود کو دے کر یہ بھی دھوکا، دیکھ لیا ہے

اُس سے ملتے وقت کا رونا کچھ فطری تھا
اُس سے بچھڑ جانے کا نتیجہ دیکھ لیا ہے

رخصت کرنے کے آداب نبھانے ہی تھے
بند آنکھوں سے اُس کا جاتا دیکھ لیا ہے
