Aaj na chahte hoye bhi woh yaad aaya bahut 
Us ke baad to jaise wehshaton se dosti ho gayi 
Phir kyun aaj tanhaiyon ne daraya bahut 
Woh mera tha mera hai mera rahe ga 
Hum ne ais khayal se khud ko behlaya bahut 
Shama ke jalne par hum afsoos kerain kyun 
Hum ne bhi manind shama khud ko jalaya bahut 
Hum ne jis kisi ko bhi humdard samjha sanam 
Woh humare dukh pe na jane kyun muskuraya bahut
