Try to get help and friendly chat with HR department of that textile mill , they can help U in conducting SWOT analysis.
 
Though I have not studied HR related subjects......... But as per my understanding.........HR related SWOT of the firm must look like as.........
 
Suppose U have done Ur Internship in XYZ Textile mill.........
 
The strengths of that particular mill might be.......
 
Strengths:
  • Attractive & Market Competitive Salary Package according to employee skill level
  • Medical & hospitalization facility
  • Free Employee Residential colonies
  • Attractive pension and gratuity plan
  • Fair promotion criteria
  • Less Employee Turn over
  • Motivated and experienced Marketing workforce(  One department of the textile mill might have experienced and motivated workforce while some other department of the mill e.g production unit might lack experienced and motivated workforce)
  • Competent and Active HR Department
Weaknesses:
 
  • Increasing payroll cost
  • Strong Labor Union
  • Lack of skilled labor in production unit
  • Fluctuating production output
  • Textile mill losing some key customers.
  • Delaying in order fulfilment.
Opportunities:
 
  • Availability of huge skilled labor in market.
  • Acquisition of small firms and their labor workforce.
  • Expansion in Global operations and induction of diverse workforce form the globe.
Threats:
 
  • Threat of new competitors.
  • VAT
  • Inflation rate
  • Changing labor laws
  • Increasing raw material cost
  • Political law and order situation in the country
  •   
Before submission of report to your Instructor ............. Try to keep in touch with him/her on mail ........... and send him/her the modifications which you made in your report according to Instructor's guidelines......Keep taking Instructor's help on mail.....He/She can also tell U the way forward.........

If U are conducting SWOT analysis on any organization from where U have undergone through Internship, then probably U are conducting SWOT analysis of that particular firm/Organization.....
 
S  ( Strengths)
W ( Weaknesses)
(Opportunity)
T  ( Threats)
 
Now, Strengths and Weaknesses are Internal to the Firm or any thing on which U are conducting SWOT analysis.Straights and Weaknesses are only related to that particular firm.....
 
Opportunities and Threats are external to the Firm or any thing on which U are conducting SWOT analysis.Opportunities and Threats are same for all the firms operating in that industry.............
 
Strengths of the Organization:
 
The Strength of the organization might be but not limited to the followings
  •  Motivated , Talented and experienced work force of the organization.
  • High Brand Names.
  • High Market share.
  • High Market share value.
  • High Owner's Capital
Weaknesses of the Organization:
 
The Weaknesses of the organization might be but not limited to the followings.
  • Incompetent top Leadership
  • unclear Vision and Mission of the organization
  • More Dependability on Raw material suppliers
  • High labor cost.
  • High production cost.
  • Low profitability ratio
Opportunities:
  • The Industry is growing
  • The firm may start global operations.
  • The raw material cost will go down in future.
Threats:
  • Threat of substitute product or service in the industry in which firm is operating.
  • Threats of new competitors.
  • Threats of political law and order situation of the country.
  • Threat of employee Turn over........
After identifying the Strengths , Weaknesses , Opportunities & Threats to the organization , U have to devise and suggest strategies to the firm........ Matching its Strengths with the Opportunities and Weaknesses with Threats.......The strategies must be such that the firm must take the benefit of opportunities by using its strengths. And devise the strategies while keeping in view its weaknesses and avoiding threats to the organization.......
 
 
Now if U have done Internship on the basis of HR Specialization , then U have to identify Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats related to HR to that organization . If Finance then U will concentrate finance related Strengths, Weaknesses ,Opportunities & Threats to that firm............
