زخم گہرے تھے زمانہ بھی کہاں تک بھرتا
گھٹ کے اندر سے ہی کھا جاتا، کہیں جا مرتا
آنکھ کے راستے دکھ درد، غمی آئی ہے
یہ جو آنکھوں میں نمایاں سی نمی آئی ہے--
