1. Classic ASP is dead. Learn PHP or .net. (if you will learn .net, you can program for web and desktop using same tools)
2. Software houses looks at your programming and learning skills, not at your CGPA. I saw many peoples working in software house with only Intermediate but they have strong programming skills. Pay depends on your interview and their need. You should keep 15K to 20K in mind without any experience.
3. More than 80% software houses you see are out sourcing agencies. US or European clients outsource their work to these Software house. If you explore freelancing websites like vWorker, oDesk, Guru, Elance and others, you will notice that many Pakistani software houses (which are said to be US Based) have their profile on these websites.
